The photo that works best
- Bright indirect light, not direct sun. A black-and-white coat in hard light blows out the white and blocks up the black in the same frame.
- Use a mid-tone background. Against a white wall the white patches vanish; against something dark, the black does.
- Keep the eyes clear of the hair. On a sheepadoodle in a longer coat the eyes disappear completely, and the portrait loses its focus with them.

- My only good photos are from when he was a puppy. Will those work?

- Will the panda markings come through?
- Yes. Panda, classic, tuxedo and mostly-black sheepadoodles all come back as they really are, because the art is built from your photo rather than a breed template. If your dog's markings have faded or grayed with age, the art follows the photo you send.
- Do you cover mini and micro sheepadoodles?
- Every size. Your dog's real proportions carry through from the photo rather than being scaled to a standard.
