- Find a photo where you can see both eyes. On a labradoodle that is the whole game — everything else about the face is coat, and coat is easy.
- Shoot just after a face trim if the timing works. A week before one, the furnishings win.
- Side light picks the beard and eyebrows apart; flat front light merges them into a single shape.

- Every photo I have hides her eyes behind her hair. Will it still work?
- Send the best one you have and you will see the finished art free before you pay anything, so nothing is a gamble. If you can take one new photo with the furnishings pushed back or after a trim, that is almost always the one that becomes the portrait.
- Fleece, wool, or hair coat — does it matter?
- Only in that they look different, and we follow your photo rather than a breed standard. A loose fleece coat, a tight wool coat and a flatter hair coat all come through as themselves.
- Do you do mini and medium labradoodles?
- Yes, all sizes. Australian labradoodles too. The art is built from your actual photo, so your dog's real build carries through.
