Custom Goldendoodle Portraits From Your Photo

Goldendoodles change color. The deep apricot puppy you brought home clears to cream somewhere around the second year, the coat goes from soft waves to something that needs a standing appointment, and one day you scroll back through your camera roll and realize the dog in the early photos is a different color from the dog asleep next to you.

A custom portrait starts with the photo you already love and turns it into art made only for you. Upload it, pick a style, and see your finished art free — before you pay anything. What you see is exactly what we print.

The photo that works best

  • Pick the photo from the coat you want to keep. Goldendoodles clear as they age, so the apricot puppy and the cream adult are both real — you are choosing which one the portrait remembers.
  • Get light on the eyes. Under a full set of furnishings the eyes disappear first, and they are what makes the portrait look back at you.
  • Photograph them at eye level rather than from above. From standing height a curly coat reads as one shapeless mass.
  • Phone photos are perfect; no professional shots needed.
  • If your goldendoodle has crossed the rainbow bridge, we work gently from the photos you have — you approve the art before anything is printed.

Common questions

Will the art match my goldendoodle's exact coat?
Yes. F1, F1b and F2 goldendoodles come out with very different coats — flat, wavy, or tightly curled — and littermates often look nothing alike. We work from your photo rather than a breed template, so whatever coat your dog actually has is the one in the art.
My favorite photo is from when she was a puppy and much darker. Is that a problem?
Not at all, and it is a common choice. Send the photo you love and the art is built from that coat and that color. If you want both, plenty of people order the puppy photo and a current one as a pair.
Do you cover mini and petite goldendoodles?
Yes, every size. Because the art is built from your actual photo, your dog's real proportions carry through rather than being scaled to a standard.
