Pen and Ink Car Drawing Style From Your Photo

Your vehicle drawn in black ink, with its identity kept exactly: the true body lines and stance, the wheel design, the grille, the trim and everything that makes it that particular car. Where the look and the machine disagree, the machine wins and the linework gives way.

Paint color becomes hatch density, which is where most ink drawings lose a car. A black car is built from dense hatch that still shows every crease, with bright open paper along the highlights down the hood and roof — never a flat silhouette. Chrome is drawn as hard bands of black and bare paper, and the shadow beneath the car is the densest black in the drawing.
