- Does the tail number come through?
- Yes, exactly as it reads in the photo. Registration, livery and any lettering on the airframe are preserved; nothing is invented.
- Ground or in-flight photo?
- Either. An in-flight photo has the sky dissolve into bare canvas at the edges instead of filling the frame, so it still reads as the same unfinished-oil style.
- Can I add a name and a date?
- Yes. The text tool adds up to two lines in your choice of font and color, which is where a pilot's name and a milestone date usually go.
- What gets removed?
- Fuel trucks, tugs, bystanders, other aircraft and ramp clutter. Hangars and the airfield itself are kept and painted loosely behind the aircraft.
